Georges Budget for Excel is a budget spreadsheet that will help you manage your personal finances by providing excel checkbook registers where you can track your account transactions and balances, a worksheet where you can create a budget and add your own categories, and reports and charts to summarize your personal finances.
This personal budgeting software helps you understand how to make a budget spreadsheet and see where you are spending your money. It is an excel budget spreadsheet template that requires a PC or Mac computer with specific versions of the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet program such as Excel 2019, Excel 2021 or Excel for Microsoft 365 (see full system requirement below).
Accounts that can be tracked include checking accounts, savings accounts, credit card accounts and other asset (cash) and liability (debt) accounts.
Some Key features of Georges Budget for Excel include:
Create your own monthly budget plan in easy to use spreadsheet template. Create your own categories (income and expense).
Run reports and charts such as budget vs actual expenses, income statement, and single category reports.
Ability to split transactions whether income or expense in the checkbook registers.
Ability to filter transactions in the excel checkbook registers.
Manually import transactions from online banking. Add up to ten accounts using the checkbook register spreadsheets. Accounts can include checking accounts, credit card accounts and savings accounts and each register can have up to 4000 rows.
Track register balances similar to a paper checkbook register.
Run macro that filters, displays, and totals outstanding register transactions to help reconcile the accounts.
Manage checking accounts, savings accounts, credit card accounts and other types of personal financial accounts such as a home equity line of credit using this budget software.

The budget spreadsheet is designed for personal use. It is not for small business budgeting spreadsheet.

Computer must be 3 GHz processor or higher Operating System - Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, Windows 11 - Memory 8 GB or more - SSD file storage.
Mac computer with Microsoft Excel 2019, Excel 2021, or Excel for Office 365 for Mac / Excel for Microsoft 365 for Mac. Mac computer must be 3Ghz or higher with SSD storage.
Georges Budget for Excel is the following currency format. 1) George Budget for Excel v12.0 has amounts formatted with the $ symbol (for customers in the United States or other countries that use the $ symbol to format amounts such as Canada and Australia.
Note: George Budget for Excel v12.0 is the new version after George Budget for Excel v10.0 which was preceded by Georges Budget for Excel v7.0 Georges Budget for Excel v12.0 dates are formatted as MM/DD/YYYY and this date format can't be changed by the user I am continuing to work on a generically formatted international format. (The formats above can't be changed by the user)
Georges Budget for Excel v12 is delivered by digital download only. No CD-ROM or other physical media will be delivered.
